El número uno del mundo tuvo su presentación el día de ayer en el US Open contra el bosnio Dzumbur a quien ganó por 6-1, 6-4 y 6-1. Con esto se asegura el duelo en la siguiente ronda contra Kyle Edmund donde el serbio es claro favorito en la serie particular que ya lidera 5-1.
Luego de su primer partido Djokovic quien es el vigente campeón del Masters 1000 de Cincinnati y que se jugó en las mismas canchas donde hoy se juegan los partidos del US Open aseguró no sentirse totalmente cómodo con las pantallas LED que se encuentran a los lados y la parte de atrás de las pistas, sin embargo, terminó diciendo que todo es cuestión de acostumbrarse.
